Dewey Beach Memorial Day Weekend
Dewey Beach Memorial Day Itinerary:
Arrive Thursday night, immediately hit The Starboard before even unpacking. Reunite with all your buddies, make some new friends, and get ready for a wild Dewey Beach weekend.
Friday: Wake up dazed and head to the beach for some sunshine, horseshoes, and eye candy.
Do some afternoon unpacking, grab an early lunch, and play a quick game of pong or cornhole outdoors as a pregame for Taco Toss! and Orange Crushes at The Lighthouse. Walk over to Starboard or Rusty Rudder (depending on which one of your interests is text bombing you the most) and finish off the night.
Saturday: Rise and shine for some early Starboard action or beach time (depending on how you feel) and rock out to some jams with the other brave ones. Around 3pm get in line for the band at Bottle & Cork and rock out to the Dewey Beach jams at 5pm. After the bands, get home to shower and get cleaned up to hit North Shore and dance the night out. Saturday night is usually a wild card in terms of where to finish the night off or how long and far you can push the limits to stay out.
(Suicide) Sunday: Get up early and hit the Starboard to get your blood pumpin with some dancing and general mayhem. Party there until about 2pm, collect your friends and get in line for Dewey Beach Jam Session at Bottle & Cork. Rock out til you fall down or give in to your Grotto’s craving or find a hot new friend to cuddle up with.
After the first band get back home to and get ready and close the night out at the Rusty Rudder. The end of the night party at Rudder is your last chance to pounce and talk to that person you’ve been eyeing the whole weekend!
Monday (Memorial Day): Rise. Advil. Hydrate on the long drive home as you think about the wonderful new memories and friends that you’ve made, remember & appreciate the Heroes who have made this wonderful weekend and country what it is today.
Happy Memorial Day, God Bless the USA!
