Dewey Beach : Neighboring Beaches
Dewey Beach has a few neighboring beaches that are well worth mentioning. These beaches are a little more tame than Dewey Beach and a little more family friendly and a lot more relationship friendly. The establishments are also more refined and make excellent vacation spots.
Rehoboth Beach: Rehoboth Beach is a charming and eclectic town that has a much more artsy vibe. The people of Rehoboth are very friendly and open-minded. The Boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach has been noted as one of the nation’s best and is great for a stroll on a beautiful summer day. Rehoboth Beach has a large gay & lesbian community due to the number of gay owned businesses and bars. Rehoboth Beach is in very close proximity to Dewey Beach.
Bethany Beach: Bethany Beach is a very quiet and quaint little beach town that is a 180 from Dewey Beach’s insanity. There are many luxurious Bethany Beach condominiums and beach houses that are quite stunning. Bethany beach is a great beach town for a quiet getaway with your significant other.
South Bethany: South Bethany is also quiet and tame and excellent for enjoying some quality one on one time with your love.
Fenwick Island: Fenwick Island brings the party a little harder than Rehoboth and Bethany, but nothing like the mayhem that Dewey Beach provides. Fenwick Island is in close locality to Ocean City which is also a great time.
