Dewey Beach Restaurants
Dewey Beach has an excellent repertoire of restaurants and dining establishments. You can get anything from a quick slice of pizza to fine dining.
Grotto’s: Grotto’s is THE go-to spot for late night pizza at Dewey Beach. After last call there is generally a mad dash to Grotto’s where you can get a giant slice of various styles of pizza. Grotto’s is located right outside of the Rusty Rudder and next to The Sea Esta III and is a frequented by Dewey Beach partyers on their way out of The Lighthouse and Rusty Rudder. It is not uncommon to witness slender young women with great figures devouring an entire pizza 12 inch pizza in one sitting during late nights at Grotto’s in Dewey Beach.
Nick’s Philadelphia CheeseSteaks & Gyros: Nick’s is always packed late night during the weekend as Dewey Beach visitors stroll home from the bars. If pizza isn’t your bag and you love a good sub or sandwich, Nick’s is for you.
Mama Maria’s: Mama Maria’s is located right next to Starboard and has some pretty amazing pizza. If you need to take a quick break from the Starboard and need some sustanance in your stomach, Mama Maria’s is a great place to sit down, have a slice, and regroup. Mama Maria’s is more of a New York Style Pizza and give Grotto’s a run for its money in goodness.
Venus on the Half Shell: Venus on the Half Shell is one of the nicer establishments at Dewey Beach. They serve various seafood, soups, salads and have nice views overlooking the water. Venus on the Half Shell has exotic decor and ambiance inside and is great for taking it down a notch from the rowdiness that can ensure while at Dewey Beach.
McShea’s Beach Pub & Grill: Located right across from the Atlantic Oceanside Motel and next to Bottle & Cork, Mc Shea’s Beach Pub & Grill is a great pit stop to get some grub or take a car bomb. The cuisine is American, Irish, and seafood. They also have a Wii inside if you want to take a break from Dewey Beach.
Sharky’s Grill: Sharky’s Grill is a solid place to stop in Dewey Beach and get a great bite to eat. It has an old beach diner feel to it and they serve good food fast. Stop in at Sharky’s for some of their excellent breakfast sandwiches before you head down to the beach.
